I love to ride my motorcycles! To me the thunder of a shovelhead and the wind in my face is one of the best ways to relieve the tension of the day to day grind . I've enjoyed the learning experience of building & maintaining my two current bikes, a 74 inch bagger and a big bore 88 inch wide glide, both shovelheads.

| I'm a member
& Road Captain of an international club called the "TOO MUCH FUN
CLUB". Not only do we ride hard but we also try to be the life of the party at all
the runs we attend or sponsor. Annually we host an invitational street bike hill climb
in
the Sierra Mountains near Markleyville .Ca. The course is a primitive 60 degrees and the
bikes must be street legal big twin Harleys, ridden in. Needless to say this turns into
one hell a of party and brings out only the best or the craziest of riders. Another annual event is our "COASTAL RUN" near Salt Point ,Ca on the beautiful Sonoma County Coast. This is a small run like the old days with tons of delicious food, games, good people and kickass music buy our buddies the "The Shakin Snakes". This run is usually the finale for the summer and we pour it on! Besides all the regular riding & partying the "THE TOO MUCH FUN CLUB" races the worlds fastest shovelhead at Bonneville Salt Flats. Built and ridden by our Prez.- California Fritz, the "Salt Shaker" held the world land speed for 5 years. In 1997 S&S took our record of 165.9. Our speed in August was 170.266, 1/2 m.p.h. under a new record. We'll be back in 99 to get our title back !( AND WE DID!) Racing on the salt is like... crazy ... the rear wheel is constantly slipping with a 50' rooster tail flying ! Watching the dinosaur roar is a kick like no other! |
